We regularly celebrate Holi, the festival of colors. This festival is much loved by students of all countries at the
University of New Mexico.
International Festival
ISA has a booth at the International Festival at the University every year. This year, besides our usual display,
we had a Kathak dance performance by Mala Mateen.

Social Activities
Walatowa High School Graduation/Jemez Pueblo
We were invited as special guests for the Walatowa high school graduation at the Jemez Pueblo.
High school students from this Pueblo visit India in their junior year as part of their leadership training curriculum.
ISA President, Bhavana, addressed the gathering of 500 people from the community and reaffirmed the continued relationship
between the Pueblo and India. Indian student and local artist, Deepti Navratna sang beautiful Indian songs for the gathering.
We were later invited to the house of one of the graduating students for lunch.
