A Home Away from Home for Indian Students🏠✨

The Indian Students Association (ISA) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) is a vibrant, non-profit student organization that serves as a cultural and support hub for Indian students 🇮🇳 and anyone interested in Indian culture on campus. As an official student organization at UNM, ISA is dedicated to building a welcoming community for students from India and of Indian origin 🌏, supporting them from arrival on campus to every step of their journey in Albuquerque 🌄.

Each year, ISA organizes signature cultural events 🎉 that celebrate the richness of Indian heritage. Our Welcome Party🥳 is a fantastic opportunity for new students to connect and feel at home. We also host a lively Bollywood Night 🎶, where students can enjoy music, dance, and the vibrant culture of India. Additionally, we actively participate in organizing Holi 🌈 celebrations alongside other UNM student associations, fostering a joyful and inclusive atmosphere.

Beyond cultural activities, ISA offers practical support for new students, including airport pick-up assistance ✈️, temporary housing guidance 🛏️, and orientation programs. Through our active social media presence 📲, we keep our community updated and engaged, sharing resources, event details, and information relevant to Indian students at UNM.

Our goal at ISA UNM is to create a close-knit community that embodies the spirit of Indian culture 🎨 while providing a platform for students to interact, collaborate, and support each other throughout their academic and personal journeys in New Mexico 🌄.
